Hello! I'm Jessica Ferren, aka Kikai. I'm a UK-based game artist, soon to be graduated from Arts University Bournemouth’s BA Illustration course. I specialise in environment design with my recent works mostly consisting of atmospheric animations that emit a sense of suspense and uncanniness. This is done by experimenting with a lot of dynamic compositions and colours, and utilising shadows, contrasts, and dramatic lighting to evoke mystery and tension. I am dedicated to refining my skills and bringing creativity to life in gaming, unafraid to experiment with new ideas and techniques to make a meaningful impact on the future of interactive entertainment.
My favourite game franchise is Resident Evil, Code Veronica being my favourite. I like to write, practice piano and collect figurines. I speak Spanish, Tagalog and English. I LOVE horror games, and as such I LOVE horror art. It is an itch I can’t help but scratch when I’m drawing...
